Headache Pain Gone!

What is my problem? My head is killing me again! I need my headache to stop right now; I think I’ll lie down. Help me find a cure for my headache please, my head is thumping. I got a massive headache & my brain is pounding what can I do? Sorry, not tonight honey, I got a headache!

How many times have you experienced for yourself or heard phrases like this before? Here is a self administered message technique you can have a go at to cure your own headache without having to resort to any pain killers.

There are various reasons a headache comes about & one of the most popular ways of getting a headache is because of some undesired stressful tension concerning tightened muscle groups especially around the face, shoulders & neck area & the tension within these muscle groups need to become released through relaxing and then massaging a specific trigger point for your headache to disappear or stop completely.

One can easily cure their headache with a few simple self administered massage techniques and the same headache busting methods can be used to cure other headache suffers effectively too so that you can now attempt to cure their headache pain & I’m sure they certainly will be grateful to you for that.

This is a two step process:

Step 1: What is required for a successful headache release is you must lie down & rest your head comfortably on a pillow & totally become aware of, then gradually take all the weight off every single muscle group in your face, especially the muscles surrounding your eyes, the forehead & the jaw & begin to feel the soothing effects. Totally relax your neck & your shoulders and arms & back & chest & let this tension just fade away as you let it all go. Ease you’re breathing as if you are about to fall asleep & once your muscles are totally relaxed you are on the first process on your way to curing your headache pain!

You may now become aware of the thumping in your head and this is quite normal. Incidentally, if you are attempting to cure someone else’s headache you can talk them through the process of relaxation & if your voice is soothing, slow & meticulous you should become quite successful in your quest to relax your patient.

Step 2: Now, whilst still lying down you will need to use one of your own hands to massage your neck at a specific point. This should be quite easy for you to do and although you need to become completely relaxed physically to cure your headache just rest your hand near the back of your neck without putting on too much pressure of the muscles needed in your shoulder & arm for such an action to occur.

Reach over towards the very base of your skull so that your fingers come into contact right there then just rest your arm once again & let your muscles relax. Now follow your skull bone right down to where your spine meets & feel the dip in your neck. The point for headache cure & your tension release will be where your neck spine meets your skull right into this soft groove. Just gently massage this area for a few minutes whilst consciously relaxing all over.

This has worked for many others I have used this technique upon & they have reported their headache had totally disappeared.

Maybe you are a born healer. I will try this next time I have a headache. Hope that won't be soon. Seems like it has been a few months since I had one!

thanks for the advice, I'll give those steps a go. I've tried visualisation techniques and other natural approaches, for me, it seems to be about how quickly I react to the headache warning signs.

thanks for sharing I have sufferd from migaines since i was little i have had every possible test and treatment done still to this day i suffer theese tips sound like they are worth trying at this point im willling to try anything im tierd of suffering its taken a toll on both me and my famliy at one time i was actully strongly considering suicide i had to go to rehab because i became depenadant on pain killers im still suffering to this day pretty much daily im so greatfull to have come across such an insightfull hub great job hope this works!!!

If you can understand you must become totally relaxed as best as you can to help relieve tension (muscle clenching that may be held onto consciously & unconsciously) take all the weight off every single part of your top body by concentrating, feeling muscle tension turn into warm liquid & just let it go, a bit at a time, your shoulders, neck, arms even face, tongue, eye & surrounds, teeth & your forehead etc: this is most important to make the technique work
